It’s been awhile

Well I haven’t posted for awhile….honestly I haven’t had much to say….and been very busy.  I am not optimistic anymore about the upcoming elections….judging by who’s left…there’s not much hope…maybe we can get lucky and the people will wake up to the ideas of Ron Paul….I hope that the people do realize great change is needed and nobody else is going to give it to us….we have to take it.

People…

Today while out eating I saw children climbing on booths and sitting sideways in chairs – and told my husband – that is what is wrong with our society today.  People do not take the time out to teach their children how to behave , respect other people or even how to create healthy relationships anymore.  What was once sacred – our morals and values – has developed into “Hey what’s on TV tonight?”  Is it too hard to raise a decent human being?  Or are people just too lazy?  What I fear most, is my children will have to deal with the imbeciles these people call their kids.  Turn off the TV, turn off the XBOX, give up your day job (one parent can work) – make a few sacrifices and raise your kids.

Fred in ’08

Well I see that Fred Thompson is announcing tonight that he is running for President in 2008.  I will be interested in seeing him in future debates.  I don’t think that any one politician can save this country by any means – that’s completely up to the people.  the President is typically a symbol, but I am wondering if Fred Thompson will be able to make any kind of impact towards change?  Doubtful any of the candidates can do it….we shall see.

Vacation

We took the most amazing trip this Labor Day Holiday!  We went to a little slice of heaven on Earth.  It has been ages since I felt like a child seeing things for the first time.  I cannot even begin to describe the type of beauty my family and I witnessed.  I apologize for being absent, but look forward to further blogging on life’s continuing issues.  I am back with a fresh perspective of what REAL freedom is and I hope to pass that clarity on to others.
